Usability is essential in website design. Users visit websites with a goal in mind, a task to complete. Usability is the facet that makes it possible to complete those tasks. Without a usable site, users will likely grow frustrated and may even abandon the site altogether.

I conducted a usability test on the Missouri Department of Revenue website, focusing on navigation and organization. I designed a a test with three task scenarios and recruited three participants to perform the test. Following the test, the participants completed a survey of their experience.

The report I compiled following the usability test outlined observations about the site, the participants' experience and feedback using the site throughout the test, and suggested improvements addressing concerns raised by the test participants.
